In my early twenties, I had an accident that left me severely impaired, unable to walk and bent over due to spinal injury. I suffered for months and eventually went to see a Specialist Doctor. His advice was to have an operation to remove part of my spine to relieve pressure on the nerves. He also said that I would never be able to walk normally again, and would have to accept life in a wheelchair.

At 22, I was having a hard time with that prognosis. So, I got a second opinion from another doctor who had a team of specialists to review my case. After some debate, the prognosis was the same as the first one.

Again, I was getting more determined to find a better answer. As fate would have it, I knew that I would not be content with the wheelchair solution, so I kept the faith, and soon found an acupuncturist from China. He said he could help me heal, and began giving me acupuncture treatments.

He said I would have to use my mind, and all of my will to achieve my goal of being able to walk again. After several sessions, I began to improve. I stood up straight and began exercises to strengthen my body. In just a few weeks of constant belief and focus on healing, I was finally perfectly healed. I learned that I could do anything once I set my mind on it.
